This Privacy Policy describes how STEHAWK PRIVATE LIMITED(CIN: U72900TG2020PTC140586), having its registered office at 2-2-1130/19/4, Flat No S2, Shivam Apartments, Prasanth Nagar, New Nallakunta, Hyderabad, Telangana — 500044, India ("Company", "we", "us"), collects, uses, stores, and protects your personal data when you use www.gofans.in, app.gofans.in, and related services (the "Platform").

This Policy is published in accordance with the Information Technology Act, 2000, the Information Technology (Reasonable Security Practices and Procedures and Sensitive Personal Data or Information) Rules, 2011, and the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 ("DPDP Act").

1. Data We Collect

a) Information you provide

  • Account data: name, username, email address, phone number, password (stored in hashed form), profile photo, bio
  • Creator verification (KYC) data: PAN, government-issued identity documents, date of birth, bank account details for payouts
  • Content you upload: posts, photos, videos, messages, comments
  • Communications with our support team

b) Payment information

Payments are processed by RBI-authorized third-party payment gateways (such as Razorpay/Cashfree). We do not store your full card number, CVV, or banking passwords. We receive limited transaction data (amount, status, masked identifiers) necessary to deliver services, maintain records, and process payouts.

c) Information collected automatically

  • Device and log data: IP address, browser/device type, operating system, pages visited, timestamps
  • Cookies and similar technologies used for authentication, preferences, and analytics (see Section 7)

2. How We Use Your Data

We process personal data for the following purposes:

  • Creating and managing your account, and providing Platform features
  • Processing payments to the Platform and payouts to Creators
  • Verifying Creator identity and age, preventing fraud, impersonation, and money laundering (legal obligation and legitimate use)
  • Content moderation and enforcement of our Terms & Conditions and Community Guidelines
  • Responding to support requests and grievances
  • Sending service communications (transaction confirmations, security alerts, policy updates)
  • Sending optional marketing communications, which you may opt out of at any time
  • Complying with legal obligations, including tax, KYC/AML, and lawful requests from authorities

3. Legal Basis & Consent

We process your personal data on the basis of your consent (provided at registration and at specific consent points such as KYC), performance of our contract with you, and compliance with legal obligations. You may withdraw consent at any time by writing to privacy@gofans.in; withdrawal may limit or end our ability to provide certain services, and will not affect processing already carried out.

4. Sharing of Data

We do not sell your personal data. We share data only with:

  • Payment gateways and banks — to process payments and payouts
  • KYC/identity verification providers — to verify Creators, with your consent
  • Cloud infrastructure, storage, CDN, communication (email/SMS), and analytics service providers — bound by contractual confidentiality and security obligations
  • Law enforcement or government authorities — where required under applicable law or valid legal process
  • Professional advisers (auditors, legal counsel) — under confidentiality obligations

Creators can see limited information about their Fans (such as username and membership status) necessary to provide their services. Your KYC documents are never visible to other users.

5. Data Retention

We retain personal data for as long as your account is active and thereafter only as long as necessary for legitimate business purposes and legal requirements (for example, financial and KYC records must be retained for periods prescribed under tax and anti-money-laundering laws). Content associated with a deleted account is removed from public view and deleted from active systems within a reasonable period, subject to backup cycles and legal holds.

6. Your Rights

Subject to applicable law (including the DPDP Act), you have the right to:

  • Access a summary of the personal data we hold about you
  • Correct inaccurate or incomplete data
  • Request erasure of your personal data
  • Withdraw consent
  • Nominate an individual to exercise your rights in the event of death or incapacity
  • Grievance redressal (see Section 10)

To exercise these rights, email privacy@gofans.in from your registered email address. We will respond within the timelines prescribed by law.

7. Cookies

We use cookies and similar technologies for: (a) essential functions such as login sessions and security; (b) preferences; and (c) analytics to understand Platform usage. You can control cookies through your browser settings; disabling essential cookies may affect Platform functionality.

8. Data Security

We implement reasonable security practices, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), hashed passwords, access controls, and secured cloud storage with signed, expiring media URLs. However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure; you use the Platform at your own risk and must keep your credentials confidential.

9. Children

The Platform is intended only for persons aged 18 and above. We do not knowingly collect personal data from minors. If you believe a minor has registered or that content involves a minor, report it immediately to grievance@gofans.in; we will remove such accounts/content and take action as required by law.
